Here is my first attempt at a suggestion to improve the rules. Smile

Original text:

Medical Kit
Value: 300
A first-aid kit that, when used, acts like one successful
use of the First Aid skill, healing 1d10 points of damage
in 1d10 minutes. Can only be used once.
W: 4 lbs.


New text:

Medical Kit
Value: 300
A handy container of bandages, salves, antiseptic, and
the like that can be used to supplement the First Aid skill.
It adds +20% to the chance of success and +4 to damage
healed per use. Whether successful or not, each attempt
degrades the item by 10%, and the entire kit is depleted
after 10 uses.
W: 4 lbs.

Yeah, it gives some of us with decent heal skills a better chance in the field and actually makes it worth it to carry the weight.
